Christmas Fun Cooking with children

One of my favorite things to do with my kids is cook. Not only cut down on my list of tasks, but it's an easy way to spend time with my kids and learn about their lives. The Christmas season may be crazy busy, but this does not mean you can not find ways to cook with your kids. If you look at the possibility that your kids can be helpers during this stressful period.

1. Dinner

If you know you're about to have one of those nights, seek help. A ingredients buffet place in your refrigerator for this type of emergency. With help, your Children can develop a self-service bar. Simply having the ingredients on hand and help them with everything that is dangerous (possibly cutting or heating, depending on age).

Here's what you want to each type of buffet. You will notice that most ingredients are interchangeable.

Sandwich Buffet - Bread (wheat, rye, rolls) or tortillas, lunch meat or tuna salad or egg salad, lettuce, cheese, pickles, peppers, cucumbers, sliced tomatoes, mustard, mayonnaise, and whatever your family love.

Salad - lettuce, tomato, croutons, sunflower seeds, dressing, tomato, peppers, cucumbers, mushrooms, onions, shredded carrots, radishes, cheese, cheese cubes or crushed ice, meat (grilled shrimp or chicken), and spare bacon.

Potato Bar - Baked potato, sour cream, butter, cottage cheese, sunflower seeds, cheese cubes or grated cheese, tomato, peppers, onions, sauce, meat (grilled shrimp or chicken), chives and bacon.

Pizza Bar - Pizza crust or English muffins, pizza sauce, salami, cheese and seasonings of your choice.

Taco Bar - tacos and tortillas, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, grated cheese, tomatoes, jalapenos, onion, meat (taco meat, grilled shrimp or chicken), and refried beans.

2. Decorate Treats

One of the easiest ways to promote love for the kitchen to make cookies or cupcakes and decorate them. Include all Nonparelli icing gel. You will be teaching both art and cuisine in one fell swoop. You'll also get to enjoy the delights.

3. If you have a Christmas party,

Christmas party at home, have a plan to make a child's plate. This is a salad or dessert, the result is something you can say I did! Up to 5 years, can make a simple recipe, whether it is age. Maybe your child could do with some Veggie Dip. Safety oversight, but seeks to encourage the child to make the most of the composition alone.

These are just some of many ways to contribute to their own little helpers enjoy cooking this Christmas.
