We all know that we need a quick dinner recipes to get dinner on the table quickly. Very rarely, some of us have the time to do everything from scratch and spend many hours in the kitchen. Here are some of my favorite quick dinner recipes to get dinner on the table in no time!
Salisbury Steak
This recipe is not much preparation time, but it takes a little time to cook, so plan ahead for it. The sauce is a nice zip with barbecue sauce and stuffing mix brings a nice taste of burgers, and help to make this patch for dinner. To make this recipe even faster, substitute dried onion flakes, and chopped onion.
Ingredients: 1 ½ pounds of ground beef
1 package chicken stuffing mix
1 ½ cup water, divided
¾ c chopped onion (or 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes)
8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
½ c barbecue sauce
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, stir together, then ground beef, stuffing mix, 1 ¼ cup water and onion. Pat into ½-inch thick oval patties. Place a large pan and cook for 25 minutes.
While the cakes are baked, pan sprayed with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Skip the mushrooms for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the remaining water and barbecue sauce. Turn down heat to low and cook for 1-2 minutes or until sauce is heated.
Serve sauce with steaks.
To conclude this meal, serve with green beans and potatoes cooked in a microwave oven and the steaks are cooking.
Zippy Chicken
Pasta This is a fun and colorful quick dinner recipes that children and adults will love. It's a good way to get children to enjoy eating vegetables. This is a complete set of dishes just so it's very fast. Because it is fairly light, sweet would be a good addition to this dinner.
Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package fusilli or rotini
½ c Italian salad dressing, divided
1 pound skinless chicken breasts, cut into pieces
2 cups broccoli florets
1 large red bell pepper, chopped
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese: package directions for cooking pasta.
Directions:
Follow While cooking pasta in a large skillet, ¼ cup of the vinaigrette over the heat to medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook about 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked. Stir occasionally. Add vegetables and parsley to the saucepan and cook 5 minutes more.
Drain the pasta. Add the chicken mixture and stir. Add the remaining ¼ cup of Italian dressing and toss to coat. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
A touch of fun in this dinner would be to substitute chicken for shrimp. If you do substitute, should reduce the cooking time about 2 minutes or just until shrimp turns pink. Shrimp becomes rubbery if overcooked, so it's important to watch the cooking time.
Since the recipe is a perfect quick dinner meal a bowl, does not really have anything to add to complete this meal. But why is comfortable and light, sweet fast would be great. I suggest pudding parfait. Take your favorite flavor of pudding, a layer of cool whip and a pair of Graham cracker crumbs and the glass is pretty easy out there, but nice piece of cake.
