Easy Summer Desserts

It's summer and berries are plentiful!

The berries are available all year in most areas, but there is no such thing as easy dessert recipes from the summer of fresh berries.

You certainly one of those recipes any time of year, but is especially appreciated as cool summer treats.

Summer Fruit

free to mix the fruit is used in this recipe to your liking. Raspberry would be wonderful. January

16 ladyfingers
2 tablespoons sherry or orange juice
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup seedless green grapes
1 cup shredded coconut
1 - 14 oz pineapple chunks, well drained
1 cup milk sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Sprinkle ladyfingers with sherry or orange juice and ¿½ 1i fourth line break bowl with crackers. Combine strawberries, blueberries and grapes. Mix coconut, pineapple, sour cream and extract. Stir the mixture lightly into fruit. Place the mixture in the bowl twice. Chill before serving.

Makes 8-10 servings

Strawberry Sorbet

Fishing The dessert was perfect if these fruits are at their freshest.

4 large peaches
1 pound fresh strawberries, chopped
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 cup powdered sugar

Add the peaches in boiling water and cook for 2 minutes. Remove peaches from the pan and immerse in cold water. When peaches are cool enough to handle, remove skins and stones.

Feel free to mix the berries to use this recipe to your tastes. Dog would be too great.

1-14 ounce can pineapple chunks, well drained
1 cup dairy sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Sprinkle ladyfingers sherry or orange juice and online 1i ¿½ quartz cup bowl with crackers. Combine strawberries, blueberries and grapes. Mix coconut, pineapple, sour cream and extract. Tap this mixture into the fruit easily. Spoon into the bowl, the double. Chill before serving.

Strawberry Sorbet

1 cup granulated sugar

Add the peaches in boiling water and cook for 2 minutes. Remove peaches from pan and immerse in cold water. When peaches are cool enough, remove the skins and stones.

Mash peaches into a paste in a mixing bowl. Pureï ¿½ pulp peaches, strawberries and lemon juice in a food processor. Mix sugar and fruit mixture pureï ¿½ for another 10-15 seconds. Pour into a shallow dish and freeze until very hard.

To serve:

Mixed Berry Brown Betty

surprise to add a little 'white wine certainly makes this one ready for business. Use any combination of berries you want.

2 1 / 2 cups blueberries
1 cup strawberries, chopped
1 / 2 cup raspberries
3 / 4 cup brown sugar
2 / 3 cup white wine (or substitute apple juice)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 / 3 cup butter
1 tsp cinnamon pinch of salt
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 1 / 2 cup bread crumbs
1 1 / 2 cups Graham cracker crumbs

Preheat oven to 350i ¿½ F.

Mix berries 3 / 4 cup brown sugar, wine and lemon juice. Set aside.

Melt the butter with the cinnamon, salt and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar in a saucepan. In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and graham cracker crumbs. Pour butter over crumbs and mix together well.

Spoon 1 / 3 of crumb mixture evenly in bottom of 6 or 8 ramekins or bottom of a square pan. Add half the mixture of berries, then spoon on a second third of the breadcrumbs. Add the remaining berry mixture and top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake for 40-45 minutes until fruit is bubbling and the crumbs are golden.

This tax Berry delicious eaten hot with whipped cream or ice cream.
